Young at Heart Theatre, a registered charity, now in its 21^st year of enriching the lives of older adults through story and song, needs your support so they can continue to bring quality entertainment to older adults in long-term care and community care facilities across PEI.  A lot has changed over 21 years, but Young at Heart Theatre continues to serve our older population with live, professional musical theatre performances. Studies have shown that exposure to music and theatre can alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression and loneliness. Young at Heart’s mission continues to be about lifting spirits, hearts and minds.

Help Young at Heart Theatre bring a brand-new original production to over 27 venues across PEI by attending this special event with host and comedian, Wade Lynch at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall on September 10^th starting at 7pm.

Starring Catherine O’Brien, the Artistic Producer of YAH, this fundraiser will feature popular country artists Whitney Rose, Lawrence Maxwell, Island singer/songwriter Kelley Mooney, musical theatre artists Gabrielle Roddy and Greg Ellard, Island Storyteller Alan Buchanan and a stellar band lead by versatile musician Deryl Gallant.

This exciting evening of classic country music and comedy will feature silent and live auctions, special prizes, a 50/50 draw and more!

Young at Heart Theatre is grateful for all the current and future supporters, who want to give back to our older generation.  Needed funds help to cover the costs of Young At Heart’s newest production, Fascinating Ladies of Country, which will tour to long-term care, community care facilities and small halls across PEI in the spring of 2026, reaching over 1100 older adults.
